Loin de paniquer, le g\u00e9ant canadien des pi\u00e8ces automobiles <strong>Linamar Corporation<\/strong> per\u00e7oit des avantages strat\u00e9giques dans son positionnement sous l&rsquo;actuel cadre commercial de l&rsquo;ACEUM.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de la r\u00e9cente conf\u00e9rence t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique sur les r\u00e9sultats de l&rsquo;entreprise, les dirigeants de Linamar ont expliqu\u00e9 comment ils se sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente vague de tensions commerciales de l&rsquo;\u00e8re Trump, et ont exprim\u00e9 leur confiance quant \u00e0 l&rsquo;avantage concurrentiel que leur conf\u00e8re leur empreinte manufacturi\u00e8re nord-am\u00e9ricaine si de nouveaux tarifs se mat\u00e9rialisaient.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 v\u00e9cu cette situation\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la PDG <strong>Linda Hasenfratz<\/strong> aux analystes lors de la conf\u00e9rence. \u00ab\u00a0Quand la premi\u00e8re vague de tarifs a frapp\u00e9 il y a plusieurs ann\u00e9es, nous avons pu r\u00e9orienter nos activit\u00e9s et en fait accro\u00eetre notre part de march\u00e9 lorsque les clients cherchaient des alternatives d&rsquo;approvisionnement nord-am\u00e9ricaines \u00e0 leurs sources chinoises.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Le fabricant bas\u00e9 \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guelph.ca\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Guelph<\/a>, en Ontario, qui produit des composants de groupe motopropulseur, des syst\u00e8mes de transmission et d&rsquo;autres assemblages m\u00e9caniques complexes, a pass\u00e9 des ann\u00e9es \u00e0 diversifier ses capacit\u00e9s de production \u00e0 travers le Canada, les \u00c9tats-Unis et le Mexique. Cette strat\u00e9gie trilat\u00e9rale a cr\u00e9\u00e9 ce que Hasenfratz d\u00e9crit comme un \u00ab\u00a0avantage <a href=\"https:\/\/www.international.gc.ca\/trade-commerce\/trade-agreements-accords-commerciaux\/agr-acc\/cusma-aceum\/index.aspx?lang=fra\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ACEUM<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb qui prot\u00e8ge l&rsquo;entreprise des pires effets des chocs tarifaires potentiels.<\/p>\n<p>Linamar a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 un chiffre d&rsquo;affaires trimestriel de <strong>2,45 milliards de dollars canadiens<\/strong>, en hausse de 4,3% sur un an, avec des b\u00e9n\u00e9fices d\u00e9passant les attentes des analystes.
